A DAY IN THE LIFE
7:35 AM Running a little late, it's time to get to work. You walk back to Paul Brown and ride the elevator to the basement parking area. Once out of the garage, you have quick access to all major highways (64/40, 44, 55 and 70). (The lucky ones amongst us walk to the MetroLink subway station at 8th & Pine for their ride to work, giving them the chance to catch up on some work or read the newspaper. The luckiest Paul Brown residents leave their cars and MetroLink passes at home and walk to work, joining the other 60,000 people who work Downtown.)
5:25 PM Back home at your apartment, you've got some time to kill before meeting some friends for dinner. You head to the roof level, and relax on the sundeck near the swimming pool.
7:35 PM Your friends have finally arrived, a few minutes late. It's time to decide where to spend the evening. Restaurants like Kitchen K, Red Moon, American Place, Wasabi, and St. Louis Bread Company are a short walk away.
10:05 PM Dinner's over, but your night isn't. The choices are: martinis at Mosaic, a round of beers at Lucas Park Grille, or keep it simple by heading down to Paddy-O's for the post-game celebration. |
